Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, says he has resumed work today, to continue helping with President Akufo-Addo’s dream of building a prosperous Ghana.

“I have resumed work today, Friday, 2nd February 2018, to continue with President Akufo-Addo’s dream of helping build a prosperous Ghana. God bless our homeland Ghana.”
His return to the office comes on the heels of a 12-day medical hiatus in the United Kingdom, on the advice of his doctors, following a short illness.
The Vice-President, who returned home yesterday, was welcomed by a powerful entourage of government officials, including the President and the First Lady, and several NPP party faithfuls.
VP Dr. Bawumia with President Akufo-Addo, and several government functionaries upon his return from medical leave in the United Kingdom.
The Vice President expressed his gratitude to the mosques, churches, and individuals, who, in diverse ways, interceded on his behalf, as well as the medical staff, whom he said discharged their duties in a professional manner.
He also expressed his gratitude to the President, his wife, the government, and people of Ghana for their support.
