Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has drawn the battle lines against his perceived competitor, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale.

According to Stonebwoy, he is lyrically better than Shatta wale.

In an interview with Joy News, that sounded more like promotional material, since both artistes belong to the Zylofon Media camp, the ‘Bawasaaba’ hitmaker asserted that he 'murdered' Shatta Wale in a battle at Labadi, in 2010, and won a motorbike for his sterling performance.

He stated that Shatta Wale is aware that he is musically and lyrically better than him, adding: "There is no way Shatta Wale can 'murder' me".

He stoked the fire further by stating that lyrically he is the 'baddest' Dancehall artiste in Africa and well-known internationally. He cautioned Shatta Wale not to ‘run his mouth’, because he cannot perform live for ten minutes.

Talking to several reviewers in the entertainment industry, who listened to the interview, they all to a man expressed the view that the 'missile' dropped by Stonebwoy will likely elicit an acerbic response from the self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale, who some think is obsessed with Stonebwoy's soaring career, because the former thinks he is a better artiste.

It will be recalled that Artiste and Repertoire Manager of Zylofon Media, Hansen Nana Asiamah, popularly known as Bulldog, and several others in his security detail, attacked Stonebwoy during a performance at the Champs Sports Bar located at Paloma, Accra, in an attempt to retrieve a vehicle that was purportedly given to him by Zylofon Media.

A brother of Stonebwoy, who was at the bar, was reportedly punched in the mouth during the scuffle.
